unique style aviation paintings - Evening Approach

I was a pilot before becoming an artist and as you may well see this artwork is inspired by flying in this case landing. It is one of a series of my unique style aviation paintings called Evening Approach. Landing direction is frequently westwards so the setting sun becomes a factor for the pilot to deal with. It can be right in their eyes and can truly spoil a good approach. The trick is to look away frequently .
