three abstract paintings in yellow

"Paint more yellow paintings" That was guidance given to me (well an instruction really 🙂 )  from a lady who knows - Katherine Lieu. So I have. And they keep coming. But here are three and I am happy to say they have been accepted for the Summer Show at the Oil and Water Gallery in Wandsworth, this July.

You may wonder what inspired these paintings... human relationships. I use shapes and symbols to represent people and the arrangement implies the body language. I have admired Edward Hopper's work for a long while and I try to capture the different, often broken, human relationships that he painted so well. He painted realistically I do not of course, but the emotion in the painting is not dependent upon description.
